Our Core Values
I am incredibly proud to share with you the wonderful opportunities and developments at Holy Trinity Primary School where we take great pride in being a part of the Lincoln Anglican Academy Trust (LAAT). We are a vibrant, welcoming school where children are enthusiastic, motivated and encouraged to achieve endless possibilities.

Lincoln Anglican Academy Trust (LAAT) is a Multi Academy Trust which was set up by the Diocese of Lincoln in 2013 to build a mutually supportive family of academies in Greater Lincolnshire who support each other in providing the very best outcomes for their pupils.

Inspired by God the Trinity and St Julian of Norwich, we have a vision to be an aspirational school that honours and celebrates each person. We work together to deliver excellence in learning so that our interests and talents can be nurtured for the benefit of the whole community. We are knit together by our shared values and we are rooted in hope for the future.

''Tattershall Holy Trinity goes above and beyond in addressing children needs and nurturing their unique talents. Thanks to their exceptional personalised approach and welcoming atmosphere, children are flourishing in ways that would not have been possible elsewhere.''

Something magical happened in Maple Class! On Monday, some mysterious beans arrived with a note from Jack explaining how to plant them... By Tuesday, a towering beanstalk had grown right in our classroom! Today, we discovered a golden egg, a harp, a bag of coins and two GIANT footprints! The children have been full of gasps and giggles as they predict what might be waiting at the top of the beanstalk. Their imaginations are soaring as they write their own Jack and the Beanstalk adventures! What do you think is at the top? Comment below! Today we held a Book Fair in partnership with Usborne Books! The event was a wonderful celebration of the joy of reading and helped us raise funds to purchase new books for our school library. Reading for pleasure is one of the most powerful ways to inspire a lifelong love of learning. It supports children's imagination, creativity, and confidence, while improving vocabulary and comprehension skills. Thanks to the support of our families and community, we are able to expand our library and give every child access to a wide range of exciting stories and educational resources. Together, we are nurturing a culture of reading that benefits every child. Thank you to everyone who contributed and made this event a success! Lego Club Lego club joins the after school offer at Holy Trinity and has been a huge success. A special thank you to Friends of School who funded or donated all of this Lego, which means that the club can expand next term. The sets can also be used in the Lego therapy intervention which supports children with their listening and communication skills. This week the children followed instructions carefully to complete their builds or used their imaginations to create their own wonderful designs. Lego sparks creativity through all age groups and is a fantastic way to end the school day. What a day of poetry and laughter! Today our children had the incredible opportunity to take part in Michael Rosen's Huge Poetry Party and yes, the man himself hosted a live lesson just for schools! From start to finish, the classrooms were filled with giggles, chuckles, and fullon belly laughs as Michael shared his wonderfully funny poems and stories. The children were captivated, joining in with enthusiasm, while staff were just as entertained proving that poetry really is for everyone! Moments like these remind us how amazing our school is at embracing opportunities that inspire creativity, joy, and a love of learning. We're so proud of our pupils for diving headfirst into the fun, and grateful to Michael Rosen for bringing his magic into our classrooms. What a celebration of words, imagination, and laughter! #LAAT #MichaelRosenDay #Poetry Lincoln Anglican Academy Trust

Maple Class had a very special visitor today! A huge thank you to Horncastle, Spilsby & Woodhall Spa Police and especially Police Officer Andrew for coming to see us! As part of our RE lesson this week "Who is special in our local community?", the children had the exciting opportunity to learn all about the important role the police play in keeping us safe. They explored the equipment Officer Andrew carries, asked brilliant questions, and even got to sit in the police car and press some buttons (with lots of flashing lights, of course!). What a fantastic way to bring our learning to life thank you again for helping us understand how people in our community care for us! Maple Class Remembers This week, our wonderful Maple Class have been busy honouring Remembrance Day through a range of creative and thoughtful activities. We've been painting and printing poppies, using bold colours and careful brushwork to reflect the beauty and symbolism of this special flower. Our little hands have been snipping red leaves, weaving wool, and counting petals to craft our very own handmade poppies each one unique and full of meaning. Together, we've created a beautiful wreath to share at our school's Remembrance Service, showing our respect and gratitude to those who have served. And to finish, we've had some sweet fun icing poppy biscuits a delicious way to remember and reflect. We're so proud of the care, creativity and thoughtfulness our children have shown this week. #RemembranceDay #MapleClass #LestWeForget #CreativeLearning #PrimarySchoolLife

Today, our school community came together for a heartfelt Remembrance Service held within the school grounds and RAF Coningsby. Pupils and staff gathered in quiet reflection to honour the bravery and sacrifice of those who have served our country. We were privileged to welcome Mr Heap, who served in the Staffordshire Regiment (Mercians). Wearing his medals with pride, Mr Heap read 'For the Fallen' by Laurence Binyon along with our Governor Mrs Simons who read a poem written by herself. This week, the children in Willow Class have been diving into the delightful world of Pumpkin Soup by Helen Cooper . Inspired by the story, we explored a variety of vegetables using our sensessmelling earthy aromas and feeling bumpy, smooth, and squishy textures! Using our oracy skills, we discussed the steps to making our very own pumpkin soup, sharing ideas, listening carefully, and building confidence in speaking. The grand finale? Making and tasting the soup together! It was a warm, tasty celebration of teamwork, storytelling, and sensory exploration. #WillowClass #Year1and2 #PumpkinSoup #HelenCooper #SensoryLearning#OracySkills#StoryInspiredLearning#CreativeCurriculum#HandsOnLearning Lincoln Anglican Academy Trust
